PCOS: PCOS can't be diagnosed at 5. You could have a risk for it at that age because of family history, obesity or adrenal dysfunction. I strongly suggest reviewing all your medical history, labs, X-rays and treatments with a specialist in endocrinology.

No.: mother's thyroid disorder is not pertinent. Your symptom is common, rarel, as an isolated symptom,due to PCOS.
