A member asked:

Do i have pcos or other cyst even though i get my period every month i'm ttc but no success plus i have normal thyroid but high thyroideab 1010.8u/ml?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thyroiditis: You have had prior thyroiditis, but hasn't yet altered your ability to make normal amounts of thyroid hormone -- although it could do so in the future. Pcos is totally different; it's Insulin resistance with infertility, obesity, hair growth, acne, irregular menses, etc. If you're obese, start diet, exercise and weight loss. If doc says pcos, consider metformin therapy to help Insulin resistance.
