A member asked:

Before using beta blockers i use to preform sex and notice my heart would beat fast, now it beats slow and sluggish, and really hard. why is this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Beta blockers.: Among other functions, beta blockers lessen your heart rate response to exercise, or "activity" in general. So they prevent your heart rate from increasing as it normally would with exercise, lifting or sex.
