Possible : There are different ways to test for chlamydia, including culture and DNA testing of urine or vaginal swabs, but none are 100% reliable. Depending on specimen, transport to lab, etc, there could be a false negative test up to 20% or more. On the other hand, A positive test is reliable. If you suspect a problem, ask for repeat testing.
