A member asked:

Can antibodies wane after 10 years of having hiv so that they are undetectable on an hiv test? does the extra blood in your body during pregnancy reduce the amount of hiv antibodies in a single sample therefore possibility giving a false negative?

This never happens, during pregnancy or any other time. Once someone has had HIV more than a few weeks, their antibody tests (or antigen-antibody tests, i.e. 4th generation) remain positive for life. No exceptions. Don't be worried about having HIV!
