Not uncommon: I don't have the exact prevalances but HPV-related lesions in the oral cavity is not uncommon. It's usually asymptomatic so harder to determine it's prevalance. There is a spectrum of lesions beyond the common warts ranging from benign all the way to oropharyngeal cancer.

Easy to aquire!: Most HPV are non-carcinogenic, and venereal warts are easily transmitted. But keep in mind, the #1 cause for throat cANCER IS hpv, NOT SMOKING!
