A member asked:

How common are hpv related oral warts after giving unprotected oral sex. i have heard that they don't thrive well in the oral cavity but i am scared.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

True: Rare for a male to get hpv related oral warts after coming in contact with genital hpv. If that were the case, there would be a lot of men and women walking around with oral warts, as most women and men in their 20's come in contact with genital hpv. I wouldn't worry... There are much more common things to worry about, like getting in your car and driving (much more dangerous!). Good luck!
