It would cause: pain and bleeding. As a result of pain you may develop also constipation as a result of not moving the stool from bowel loosing it's watery content.

Colonoscopy showed polyp and ulcers in upper rectum. Doc prescribed flagyl and dicloran,, I've past stomach prob. and still GERD. Can i take PPI ?
I do not get heartburn nor do I have GERD. I have had ulcers related to h pylori and need a Med to reduce the acid in my stool burning my rectum.
