Colonoscopy showed polyp and ulcers in upper rectum. doc prescribed flagyl and dicloran,, i've past stomach prob. and still gerd. can i take ppi ?

GERD: Yes it is ok to use a PPI. A lot of patients need to take that long term. Use Omeprazole 20 mg once or twice daily as needed. See your doctor if sxs persist or progress after one month of use. Go to ER if you get dark or bloody stools.

Abdominal x-rays, ultrasound bile duct enlarged,mrcp, blood tests, a few days ago a colonoscopy and egd w/polypectomy sessile polyp ascending colon. ulcers/erosions in gastric body. All shows Normal. Yet STILL PAIN mucus&jellylike bowel! OVERLOOKING?
Should i worry if i keep bleeding from my rectum? I am not sure if it's my diverticulitis , another polyp, ibs. I also have a ulcer in stomach.
