Nonspecific : Firstly, cancer usually isn't painful. Second, a hernia is usually associated with a bulge. Third, could be some sort of inflammatory problem or infection. Best to get seen by your primary care provider for a more complete history and exam. Ask if a urology referral is necessary. Hope this helps!
