NO: Methotrexate is in pregnancy drug category X meaning it can never be given during pregnancy. It is sometimes used to induce an abortion.

Absolutely not!: METHOTREXATE is an abortofacient! Absolute contraindication. A because of persistent metabolites called MTX polyglutamates, no attempt to get pregnant until three months after using MTX!
