Dark spot on tongue: Tiny dark spots on tongues can be normal & an inherited condition but should be checked by either an oral surgeon (dentist) or dermatologist, at least to be followed in size by measurement if the initial evaluation declares it to be normal. Any changes in size, color, shape, symmetry, or symptoms should prompt a biopsy. If there is an unusual finding on examination a small biopsy should be taken.

Probably normal: This is probably just a pigmented lesion. As long as it doesn't have irregular borders or is raised up (should be flat) and is not red in color. I would recommend seeing a dentist if the appearance changes. A definative diagnosis can only be made by doing a biopsy so if you become worried i would pursue that. But, in a young and otherwise healthy person it probably is nothing to worry about.
