Need more info: Did you have any trauma? Is there a swelling? Is the pain on both sides or only one? Some times the pain in testes is due to urinary issues, such as passing of crystals in urine. If the pain does not subside in a couple of weeks, it would be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation.

If sudden, C Dr ASAP: Sudden onset severe testicular pain needs to be checked asap in case of testicular torsion because blood supply to testis is cut off & there is risk of testicular loss.
