What do you mean?: The herpes sores should not bleed themselves (but could if you pick at them once they have crusted over). Outbreaks tend to occur when your body is stressed or sick. Many women will experience herpes outbreaks during their periods but it can come at anytime during your cycle. If you frequently have outbreaks during your cycle you may be a candidate for supression therapy and should talk to your md.

Herpes simplex: You don't indicate where the bleeding is from and to what degree. But yes, the ulcers may bleed slightly if scratched or otherwise irritated.
