A member asked:

Should i retest? had chlamydia urine test at 12 days post exposure was negative.(never had std and abstinence currently)

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Likely not infected: If you are not having symptoms that include burning with urination, discharge from your urethra, fever, chills etc and you had a negative chlamydia test 12 days after your sexual exposure it is unlikely you are infected and need a retest. If you are having any of those symptoms you need to go to your primary care physician to get retested and treated. Always use condoms to protect from STDs.
