I was tested for syphilis. rpr was pisitive(1:1) and tppa was negative. does in mean i am infected?

Syphilis: Probably not. The RPR is a screening test which is very sensitive but not as specific, so that you can have false-positive results. The TPPA is far more specific and used to detect the RPR positives that are falsely positive.

Food/drink and medications do not cause false negative syphilis tests. You have not been infected with syphilis with those negative tests, take care.
