Probably OK: Negative RPR proves no active syphilis at this time. However, RPR can become negative after a few years, even without treatment, but later can reactivate. If you are certain you were exposed, such as unprotected sex with someone who definitely had active syphils at the time, see your doctor for additional syphilis blood tests. If lower risk than this (e.g. just unprotected sex), no worries!
