My wife has pco. she's on depo-provera povera for contraception. can she use metformin. can it induce ovulation and affect the contraception ?

Ulikely: metformin is a common medication for treatment of PCOS. In people not on contraceptives, it may improve fertility. It is unlikely to affect the ability of Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to provide effective contraception.
