Hemorrhoids fissures: Hemorrhoids are venous structures. Fissures are a tear with scarring in this delicate tissue. Constipation, is local trauma to anal canal as large, hard stool passes. Straining, coughing, lifting lead to increased venous pressures and rectal trauma. Fissures once started can progress. Care and treatment is the same, decrease anal trauma, get evaluated by local doc or surgeon. Good luck, be well.
