I don't get it: Herpes 6 is the roseola virus which infects nearly all of us since early childhood. There is speculation about some possible indirect relationship to multiple sclerosis. It is not an std! it is not the same as herpes simplex which is responsible for genital herpes or cold sores (hsv 2, hsv1). Why test for hsv6?. Acyclovir will yield no benefit for this unless you have a (rare) acute hh6 infe.
