A 21-year-old female asked:
if i had sex 12/27 and then 01/03-04 got a faint positive on 01/12 which day caused my pregnancy?

Either: It is most likely that the 12-27 would be the conception date, as it can take up to 10 days for a pregnancy test to become positive, however either of the time frames you note cold have resulted in a pregnancy that may show up on a pregnancy test by 01-12 because it is possible to have a positive test as soon as 7 days after conception.

A 22-year-old female asked:
I had sex the other day and direc after realized a milky white thin substance being secreted. He "pulled out" but should I be worried about pregnancy?

Yes: If it were just vaginal secretions you can be safe, but the risk of it being seminal fluid (even pre-ejaculate) could put you at a risk for pregnancy.
Withdrawal method is a very poor method of contraception and also puts you at risk for sti's.

Not likely,: The emergency oral contraceptives render your cervical canal impervious to sperm and your uterine lining hostile to fertilized eggs, so you should be safe from pregnancy this time. I would highly recommend, though, relying on a more efficient form of regular contraception, such as intrauterine device if you do not desire pregnancy at this time. Folic acid 1-5 mg daily just in case you get pregnant.

Could but didn't: Anyone having unprotected sex can get pregnant. Since you had a period we know that you did not.

A member asked:
I had sex 4 days ago & it was unprotected & i'm feeling really weird . Could this mean i could be pregnant ?

Doubtful: 4 days is very quick to experience pregnancy symptoms. I would suggest you use protection until your period is due. If you miss your period, then i would be cocerned about a pregnancy.

Yes: While most ovulation occurs days 9-16, you can get pregnant on other days. It's unlikely, but possible.
