Unclear: It's possible that you are early pregnancy, it's also possible that you are miscarrying. The only way to tell would be to do sequential blood HCG tests. Your doctor could order these for you. Your other option is to just wait and see. See if bleeding continues, see if pregnancy test still positive in a few days. Unless you are at risk for ectopic, you don't have to go to the doctor. Goodluck.

Likely period: By 8 days late a pregnancy test very likely would be positive if you were pregnant. So good chance that the spotting is the beginning of your period. ... Read More
