If clean, yes: If you're sure it's clean, spinach dip can be fine to eat. However, there have been some outbreaks of listeria, a type of bacteria, in spinach and other fresh vegetables. If you wash your veggies carefully and prepare the dip yourself, you should be okay. It could be more problematic if you don't know how the dip has been cared for until you eat it (like sitting on a table for a long time, etc).
