UTI: There are many reasons for failure of therapy with uti, and would need more info to answer you specifically. The antibiotic you are using may not be effective against the bacteria you have, you may have infection in a location in the urinary tract that cannot be reached by the antibiotic. You may be becoming reinfected in some other fashion. See an infectious diseases expert for evaluation.

I was already drinking antibiotics for a uti when I took a plan b a week ago and I barely finished taking the last one today. It doesn't hurt to pee but the urge to pee still stays. could it be that the antibiotics didn't work or plan b failed?
