Hello, i received an antibiotic for a really bad uti for five days and today im due to take the last one. im still having issues feeling like i have to pee and lower pain in my left pelvic area. my urine looks clear. no sure how to proceed?

How diagnosed? If a clean catch urine was analyzed and a culture used to determine the antibiotic used you may be fine. If the label UTI was assumed with minimal or no testing you may have a totally different problem in your genital tract requiring a different approach. I would contact your treating doc and consider a follow-up visit.

Time for an in person follow up for at least 2 reasons, one to question the actual diagnosis as possibly different and second to question possible bacterial resistance and the need for a different antibiotic. Urine studies will be needed regardless, specifically if not done yet.
