A member asked:

I have necrosis of the liver what can i expect?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What's the cause?: An elite athlete can kill off huge numbers of his liver cells in a prolonged endurance event and they grow right back with the liver restored perfectly. This also happens after prolonged shock with recovery. If you have a chronic hepatitis (viral, immune) with ongoing cell damage, the outcome is whatever is expected for the hepatitis. Insist your physician tell you what's killing liver cells.
