Serious problem: You may be referring to a problem of either fatty liver infiltration or liver disease secondary to a condition like pre eclampsia. Either way, the process leads to an elevation in blood tests that reflect damage to liver cells due to an underlying process. This is a serious problem and needs to be addressed as to the underlying cause. If it goes untreated it can lead to more serious consequence.
