Goiters: don't usually disappear unless due to hypothyroidism and now getting thyroid hormone- if that's the case, 6-12 weeks to shrink gland

Depends: Hi. Goiter is a very imprecise term: there are uninodular, multi nodular, and diffuse goiters, which may be associated with normal, hyper, or hypothyroid function, and benignity or malignancy. Goiters tend to stay about the same in most case (of course some grow). If you have a Graves' goiter and the Graves' is treated, the goiter will shrink. Too many variables without knowing your case. Depends.
