Some, but not high: A large soft lump in this location could be an enlarged lymph node, from infection or lymphoma or another cancer, or it could be something else that is relatively common, such as a lipoma. You should see your doctor about this, and he/she may refer you first for good imaging (ct or mri) and then for a biopsy, perhaps a fine needle biopsy as an outpatient. Don't delay.

Hard to answer: This lump may just be a benign fatty tumor (lipoma). However, an enlarged lymph node is also a possibility. There are also various other soft tissue lumps. You need to have it checked by a health care provider. Additional imaging may also be needed. Please have it checked.

Not sure.: Lymph nodes that are cancerous are usually firm or hard to the touch. Soft lumps are more commonly benign (lipomas). Definitely have your physician evaluate it.
