Need an U/S: Some masses are not able to be seen on mammography. Ultrasound is the next step. If there is a persistent palpable mass you should see a surgeon.

Yes reassuring : If both the mammogram and the doctor's exam revealed no evidence of a mass then it is reassuring. A mammogram is an excellent screening and diagnostic test. You can continue now to follow up routinely with your doctor.
