No: It is not uncommon for people to have back pain. It is estimated that 60-90 percent of americans will have back pain at some point on their life, it often peaks on patients on their 30s and 40s. It is a little unusual to have such diffuse findings and such severe pain. You might consider being screened by a rheatplogist to see if you might have an underlying cause. Thank you.
