I had acl surgery back in march and was playing football and landed wrong and felt i pop in my knee it is swelling and it hurts. did i retear it?

Possibly: Possibly and i would certainly let your surgeon know. Some times it can be simply the breaking up of some scar tissue adhesions from your surgery, but in the worst case scenario you can retear an acl ligament or a meniscus. A simple exam can go a long way in determining the likely cause. Thank you.

Possibly...: It could also be a kneecap subluxation or perhaps a meniscal injury. I would visit your surgeon and have them assess it. If it is unstable chances are you reinjured it.
