Probably not: Some swelling after a major knee surgery is not uncommon for a few months. Pl continue with OT/PT and keep walking to enhance your rehabilitation. Feel better

Depends....: There are many types of back surgery for many different back conditions so answering specifically will be difficult; however, generally you can expect to be up and walking within 1-2 days after surgery. You'll also likely be limited in the amount of bending/twisting you are allowed to do, maybe even in a back brace. Pain/discomfort should be expected but diminishing. You may also have a catheter.

Try a chiropractor: Try seeing a local chiropractor who is certified for pregnancy care. Many of my patients see a chiropractor to help with back and hip pain during pregnancy. Most say it helps a lot.
