my knees popping after acl and meniscus surgery. it doesn't hurt but sometimes i loose balance. did i have a re tear?

Possibly!!: See your orthopaedist. Could be scar tissue , retrear or meniscus tear.

Need knee evaluation: There are a number of possible causes of knee "popping" and a feeling of loosing balance. Your doctor should evaluate your knee to determine the exact cause. If you didn't have an injury to the knee, you probably didn't re-tear the acl.

Hard to say: Might get better with pt if not maybe the acl has gotten worse should discuss with your orthopedist or seek another opinion.
