A member asked:

Taking much of carbohydrates, sugary food and drinks, can it call diabetes? or is it just a myth?

No myth: Consuming large amounts of sugars & carbs (including drinks) causes your pancreas to secrete more & more Insulin to keep up with the excess sugar load. Eventually, your cells can become resistant to insulin, creating more glucose in your bloodstream. Your cells need the fuel, but it can't get inside them. Higher blood sugar leads to diabetes.
