Radiologist? abdo mri (see profile) tues. hospital page says no food/ drink 6 hrs pre. scheduler insists w/this procedure food okay. i called back & got another scheduler who read chart & agreed.

Schedulers are that: If literature from the hospital or radiology dept itself explicitly restricts eating for 6 hrs. Prior to a particular procedure then, that is both the best medical as well as legally binding advice that can be offered. Nobody else you talk to has the authority or training to give out contrary advice without md clearing first.
