See that you are: Pre-diabetic, not diabetic. This article from the american diabetic association has a long list of fruits that are fine: http://www.Diabetes.Org/food-and-fitness/food/what-can-i-eat/fruits.Html. Here is a great study on fruit and diabetes: http://care.Diabetesjournals.Org/content/31/7/1311.Abstract.

Fruits & Prediabetes: Diabetics and pre-diabetics can eat fruits, especially those which contain more fiber such berries -- or water such as melons. Fruit juices are more likely to spike your blood sugar because the fiber has been removed. So if you drink them, use more limited amounts.
