My finger tip is very swollen and painful for 6 days. my doctor gave me an antibiotic (2 x day for 10 days) and i'm on day 5 and its the same. should i go to the doc again or wait for the 10 days?

Call your doctor: If you are getting worse on treatment, you should definitely see your doctor again.

At minimum : I would call him & ask for further guidance. Finger/ hand infection can get out of control.
