I have a lump in my left forearm close 2 elbow. seen my doc and was told it ws swollen due 2 infection gv me antibioic. wat causes infec is it serious?

Follow up: Skin is an oily structure with skin pores which may get infections we call boils or carbuncles . Skin carries many bacteria which get into these pores with poor hygiene. Finish antibiotics and follow up with doctor. Sometimes may need to be lanced and cleaned
