My upper arm is swollen just below my shoulder but a few inches above my elbow for 1-2+ months. it hurts if i poke or lift my arm. what could it be?

Any swelling: Need to be evaluated . It may be soft tissue , it may be from the bone . At your age , we need to rule out bone tumor . This is not to scare you but bone tumor has bimodal presentation . See you doc , be examined and if need be have imaging . Good luck.
