Can i take more than 1 dexilant (dexlansoprazole) in 24 hours? i vomited a few hours after taking one 60 mg capsule. 34 yo female with barretts esophagus.

Dexilant (dexlansoprazole): The drug is a protein pump inhibitor. Vomiting may be a side egfect ofthe drug. Since its been awhile, you can take another capsule. If the vomiting persists see your doctor for another medication.

Not needed: It could be the medicine didn't agree with you- but if it was several hours you didn't lose the effect of the medicine. You may need to be on a different medication.
