I feel solid food going down my esophagus & feels slow moving after swallowing. trying soft food diet & can feel mashed potatoes going down. drinking helps. dx gerd in '03. tried and failed many ppis. currently dexilant 60mg qd at pm. stricture?

Not likely stricture at your age. I would elevate head of bed 8 inches by getting blocks from Bed Bath and Beyond. Gravity never sleeps and this may help with reflux at night. Put under legs of head of bed.
