Are you sure: What you are telling , it is not only ethical , also illegal , only way do such a procedure is as approved experimental procedure , you are right i watched stitching a patch on the tongue in less than 10 mnt and charging $2000 for it , I do not think it is approved fda using that material ( although same is used in hernia repair ) ethics here is individual opinion thanks for bringing it.

Sounds painful: Certainly must be an easier way. Ethical - good question. I would discuss other options personally. Hope this helps.
