I used baby orajel on my tongue and it caused my mouth to swell and its hard to smile, move my lips and to lick my lips. should i call the doctor?

See answer: If your tongue or throat seem swollen get to an ER. Any trouble breathing, call rescue squad. You may be having an allergic reaction. Call your Dr for advice or a poison control center.

Allergic reaction: Important that this be treated immediately. Any airway swelling can proceed to the point of being dangerous. Please ER, Urgent Care, or SEE your Physician immediately.

Visit ER/Urgent Care: If the swollen tongue is caused by a drug reaction, you must stop taking the medication and visit ER or Urgeny care for evaluation.
