Noninvasive virtual colonoscopy using ct and MRI but does not allow for therapeutic maneuvers such as polyp/tumour removal or biopsy nor visualization of lesions smaller than 5 millimeters.

Colonoscopy showed a 2cm bulging in cecum. Biopsy was good. CT scan was unremarkable. It was noted that the loop of the sigmoid colon is located in the right quadrant, immediately beneath the cecum. GI wants a follow up, but won't explain why. Help?
