Rectal prolapse: A colorectal surgeon is best qualified to evaluate and advise you about the rectal prolapse. You don't mention having any symptoms which may be related to it. Nevertheless it would be worthwhile to get a specialist's opinion about your current status and whether anything should be done at this time. The loopy and redundant sigmoid and transverse colon probably needs no treatment.
