Memory issues after undx. tle seizures . better now on lamictal but memory still imperfect. are seizure related memory issues permanent?

Not always: Seizure related memory difficulties can be a result of the seizures themselves, a side effect of the seizure medications, or an indirect side effect of the medication such as a vitamin deficiency. I would recommend that you have your memory followed sequentially by neuropsychological testing. This would be your best way to gauge your progress, as different treatment modalities are tried.
