How long would it take for 50 mg of lamictal to leave body after on it for years..dr. wants it stopped-possible bad reaction..not using for seizures?

5-7 days: Lamictal has a long half life of 24-33 hours. In general, a medication is out of the body within 5 half-lives, which would be 5 - 7 days, if you are not taking other medications. Other medications can affect the half-life of lamictal.
