Hi, i have petite mal seizures and am on lamictal. can i try rhodiola? i've had bad reactions to many seizure meds in the past. is it worth the risk?

Controlled on medica: If your seizures are controlled with the lamictel leave well enough alone. If however you are still having seizures then you need to look into other treatment options. Make sure your neurologists discusses options in detail with you

Comments: You do not indicate your age, but if you are no longer an adolescent, you do not have petit mal, but a different variety such as complex partial seizures. Lamictal is a fine drug with few side effects, and I am perplexed why you would even consider an ineffective remedy. Rather, we have over 20 medications; can you not discuss approaches with your doctor?
