Low likelihood : At age 19 and if without family history cancer is unlikely but colitis is possible. You need to have it checked out.

Probably not.: More common causes of blood in stool include hemorrhoids. It would be exceedingly rare for a 19 year old to have colon cancer. If the bleeding does not stop, see your physician.
